"These are the iron laws that have always determined global power." A rare honest moment there from President Trump. So does our Prime Minister believe in international law or the law of the jungle? That's the choice here in opposing or supporting imperialism.

TODAY IS #HumanRightsDay Let’s remember Human Rights are universal & non- negotiable. If we start stripping away basic human rights from any section of society then none of us has rights – just privileges that can be taken away by people in power whenever they want

The government’s ongoing refusal to engage with reality in the criminal justice system, while trotting out the same tabloid-pleasing headlines as its predecessors, is having catastrophic effects, day after day. The guilty acquitted, the innocent convicted, victims and defendants failed.

The fact that Tim Montgomerie has left the Tories and joined Reform, a party with 5 MPs, should by any logic mean he’ll be on TV giving his political opinions far less often. But in fact I’m sure he’ll pop up even more frequently. And I don’t just mean on GB News.

This is depressing. PM appears to rule out youth mobility scheme with EU on ground “freedom of movement is a red line.” That makes no sense. It falls far short of “free movement” because it only allows individuals to come for a limited period & does not allow them to settle in UK or EU member state

I frequently see this kind of news headline and it angers me - most EV drivers would rarely if ever use premium rapid charging. Imagine if petrol prices were reported as if drivers only ever bought premium fuels at motorway services. But people read these stories and are discouraged from buying EVs.

Since 2016, there have been 3 elections, 6 PMs, and 4 different Brexit deals, none of which the Brexiters like. Yet the same Brexiters who said voting on those deals would break democracy, want another election, because they don't like the result of the one 4 months ago. These people are toddlers.

Clive is bang on here. This is very basic stuff that Labour are getting so completely wrong. People who are struggling are not benefiting from hawks like Blackrock being given partnerships. Not only are they not benefiting - they're a huge part of the reason that inequality is so huge.
