Im happy to hear they did the right thing in the end and am sad this is the first time i have heard they did. Now if only i actually cared about pvp shooters :/ really hope they add a good co-op mode or something. I love the art style and setting, I just cant get past the pvp only part.

FurAffinity (a furry focused online art gallery) is looking for funding after refusing to comply with advertiser demands. And oh boy are some of those advertiser demands pretty ridiculous. (alt text added)

A post from a FurAffinity developer blog which says:

What makes this situation frustrating is that the bar for what advertisers consider "adult content" is very very low. For example they consider plus size characters, two characters hugging, and "barbie doll nudity" to be adult content, despite these being normal everyday things that are not adult at all. This is why you may see other sites with restrictions on how characters cant be posed or dressed "too provocatively."

We receive a daily list of items that they have flagged as violations and have to sort through them. If they're legitimate violations, we re-rate them. If they aren't, we don't touch them. Submissions that are not violations of our policies are still held against us.

We have had many email conversations, Zoom calls, and even an in-person meeting with representatives to help resolve this to no avail.

My windows 10 install is so f’ed up after 6 years of work and parts failing that i want to do a re-install but the week or two of downtime needed to get it back to speed is preventing me from doing anything besides trying to swat the bugs and crashes when they pop up.
