When my Haladriel story comes to its close (though I'll never truly be *done* with them) I might start my own IP with original characters. My hope is to one day tell a dark romance story, the length of a novel, like Beren and Luthien but spicy. Anyone interested? I would need ARC readers! 2/2

As I come near to the end of this story I start to worry the themes I want to explore might be a tad dark for these characters, or this universe. I also feel like I'm potentially selling myself short by not writing a story I can some day *sell* (crazy, I know).... 1/2

Now with art! For a birthday gift for myself, I commissioned this beautiful piece from @thatsouthernanthem.bsky.social. Thank you for bringing this moment from chapter 15 to life. Especially cause there’s not enough stubble-faced Glamron art out there 🥰

I have seen Wuthering Heights... IT WAS REALLY GOOD! But guys... that was literally just a Haladriel fic with the names changed. It had more to do with 90% of the Sauron/Galadriel erotica I've read on ao3 than anything Emily Bronte has ever written. Lol.

They do this while also making it illegal to write, or even read, fictional incest. I'm supposed to take UK law seriously? Fuck off. Be gay, do crimes.

Fic exchanges seem fun maybe I will try that. Might be a good way to get myself out of this creative drought.

It looks interesting. But it also looks like a film lost in its sauce. I'm seeing it soon and will see for myself. At the very least it looks like a truly artist-driven movie. The casting of Elordi is unforgivable though. I think even if I enjoy the movie, I'll never understand that choice.

It feels... profane. Illicit. Like a relationship with an evil Maia. I shall have no part in this.

However you feel about incest kink, the idea that saying "Daddy" in porn could put people in prison is actually factually LGBTQ suppression btw

And of course the number 1 category who will be hurt by this will be queer artists. They will call us all paedophiles and zoophiliacs. They will throw us in prison for writing fiction. Being an "icky pervert" is about to become a crime worthy of career ruination, doxxing and imprisonment.

Kinks are soon to be illegal in the UK. Specifically video games with narratives involving fictional incest. Imagine ending up on the sex offender registry for engaging roleplay. Being put in the same category as real world paedophiles and rapists. Because of art. What a fucking joke.

I've received a bunch of these types of comments. It's insane how these are even reaching small accounts like mine. I delete them. I don't know if it's the result of a rise in lack of media literacy, the rise in puritanism, a rise in bot farms, or some fucked up mix of both, but it's gotten worse.

Guys guys guys guys guyyyyyyyyyys (non-gendered) I commissioned haladriel Chibi art from @samiarts18.bsky.social and just LOOK At It!! Galadriel in pink is a vision and Sauron’s spikes and sword look so cool. It’s amazing 😭😍

Galadriel in a flowing pink dress with her long blonde hair topped by a gleaming silver circlet and Nenya glowing on her hand, raises her other hand to her chest. Sauron unbelief in his black spiked armor with a long black sword bends his head and leans forward as if to kiss her ring, making her blush
