The biggest thing you can do this Banned Books Week is to call or write your elected officials in Washington. Tell them you oppose the three federal book ban bills HR7661, HR266, HR8705, & S4925. Let them know we haven't lost sight of those bills...

It is the start of Banned Books Week and as such it's an EXCELLLLENT moment to donate to @authorsabb.bsky.social. We are laser focused on tbe single issue of fighting book bans. It's hard work, and we've done it with all volunteers for about 3 years-- and now we finally have a program manager.
