Eleanor Browne moves to Morning Star cottage on the coast after the death of her husband. The boathouse behind her cottage is significant to the story. This was inspired by a boathouse I used to pass on beach walks as a child, although it was less creepy than Eleanor's version.

This is true even outside of art. A good way of determining whether a project is too large is to ask “What is it specifically that I need to learn to be able to finish this?” If the answer is that you don’t know what you don’t know, the problem is probably too large.
