“Don’t make a girl a promise…” 💙✨CORTANA✨💙 I’m weak for her Y2K hacker girl aesthetic from Halo 2, this one has lived rent free in my head for 20 years, lol. #Halospotlight #Cortana #HaloFanart #HaloCommunity #FanArt #ArtShare #GamingArt

A digital procreate drawing of the artificial intelligence hologram Cortana from the halo video game series (Halo 2), in an action pose, accessing a forerunner control panel with one hand and handling the index and a halo ring with the other hand.

So I started working on a new hobby, and decided to go straight to scalemaile, ahahaha! Made this in like, 2 days while trapped at a work conference. Photos were from when I got back home 🤣

The ability to get off my phone and draw (or do almost anything, really) has been a Herculean effort these last couple of weeks. All those kinda important texts I should respond to tho? Yep, brain says those are poisonous, sorry! 🤷🏼‍♀️

I imagine and dream of my own stories now, and practice all the time the skills I want to use for this dream. You matter, you are valuable, and you will find a way to continue and thrive. The world is shot rn, but please don’t let this broken system determine your worth if you can ✨💕

Aurora Strix @aurorastrix.bsky.social · 22/12/2024

I know it has nothing to do with your debt, but I want you to know how deeply impactful you are on others, and that no matter your financial picture, you matter. Reading Muted back in 2019 inspired me to try writing my own comic. I haven’t started yet, but because of you, (cont)

I also finally submitted my manuscript yesterday after working a 52hr week 🫨 My protocol on how to utilize a silicon nitride nanomembrane to test liquid media samples for Microplastic presence using fluorescence optical microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, SEM, and EDX is finally up for review ✌️✌️✌️✌️

If it doesn't have cat eye pupils, some type of horn/antler, wings, tail, or at least nonhuman ears, it's uninteresting to me and I cannot focus on it until I add one of those things ✌️🤣 Therefore, elves, demons, vampires, and tieflings are my default state of character, hahaha

So many summer fields

Digital painting. Illustration of a dry grassy windswept field, the right half blackened and burnt with a fire sweeping the edge. Standing in the fire are two women, one a fair-skinned blonde with long hair blowing in the wind. She faces away from the viewer and wears a billowing black dress. Her right arm rests at her side, and her hand rests on the shoulder of a dark-skinned woman wearing a pale gold dress who’s sitting with her eyes closed. In the distance is a small white sun held in a pale, smoke-filled pink sky.

Lately I have been up to my eyeballs in writing a fast-tracked research manuscript, and in the middle was a death, $250k analysis instruments being down, and none of my fellow authors offering me any help with editing until the last minute. I can't wait for winter break 🫨🫨🫨🫨🫨

No, I think a majority of us knew he was gonna be weird. Only weird people premeditate murder and throw away their lives to make a statement or exact revenge like this. But statements can be said AND interpreted in isolation when it's this large of one. Doesn't make him less of a crazy weirdo tho

All I'm saying is that Luigi Mangione should get the same punishment as Kyle Rittenhouse for killing people. ...a podcast, national recognition, a bill passed in his name to protect people in his position, and a House Member attempting to give him a congressional gold medal.

Nothing is more emotionally confusing, hurtful, and exhausting than trying to reconnect with family 2800 miles away after 15 years of no contact and a death AND you're by yourself without your partner, so you gotta be okay with all of this alone when your head hits the pillow. Maaaaaaannnn....
