I ended up really enjoying Neagley btw. Though I'm not sure I agree with people describing her as ace when her touch aversion clearly goes way beyond sex and is explicitly framed as a trauma response. Obviously they can coexist in people, but it bugs me, because touch aversion ≠ asexuality.

I want to believe in love, friendship and community. But some days it's really hard when it feels like chronic illness has destroyed most of my social life. So many old friendships have crumbled away or turned into seeing each other once a year in a group setting.
