It's insane how often this show set up really good themes that ACCIDENTALLY worked out great for the bigger narrative. And how much they didn't use even though it was right in getting of their noses, because they thought they were making a different show.

I've been traveling to this particular convention location for almost 30 years now, and I can't recall a single occasion where the short journey there or back home worked as planned. Which is always "fun" when I'm overtired and an emotional wreck on Monday morning.

My local cinema is doing ONE showing in English on the 16th, and I'm really hoping to get a ticket for that one when the tickets go online in a few hours.

It has to be a little weird for popular actors to come to Magic Con and realize that the one who gets the most applause BY FAR is Mark Ferguson, a guy who was in LotR for one (deleted) scene, but who has been a beloved part of this event for 24 years.

Now I remember why I didn't (couldn't) finish The Mentalist when it originally aired. Patrick keeps getting away with progressively more insane shit, and the show plays it for laughs, which completely undermines Lisbon as a character. He does whatever he wants, no matter how much damage he causes,
