I blooming love Spotify. Had a cr@p day at work. My Bob Ross bobble head has run out of batteries and couldn't find any in town to replace with. Bob Ross is one of my comfort shows. They have some on Spotify. So I am going to spend my bus journey back watching them.

I STAND WITH THE RNLI.

The RNLI is a charity that exists to save lives at sea. But recent events have generated deliberate misinformation and a misunderstanding about our purpose and our lifesaving work in the Channel.

As a result, some of our volunteers and staff have been the subject of online and, in some cases, physical abuse. This is unacceptable.

The RNLI’s people represent the very best of society. For over two hundred years they have dedicated themselves to rescuing people they’ve never met before, without judgment, fear or favour.

We are tasked by HM Coastguard to help those in distress, and we'll do so whenever, wherever and whoever they are.

We launched 9,058 times in 2025. Only 109 of those launches were to those in distress in the Channel – 1.2% of our total rescue work. Anyone rescued from a small boat by the RNLI is then taken into the care of the relevant UK authorities.

To those who stand with the RNLI, thank you. For more than two hundred years, we've saved lives at sea around the UK and Ireland, and that commitment remains unchanged.

I have written a to do list for tomorrow. This is to try and give me something to focus on as I am struggling with no structure due to being on sick leave. I have to buy birthday cards, pop to the pharmacy, arrange doctors note and pop to the bank. Still being gentle but allowing me feel productive.

Had an emergency operation yesterday to drain and infected cyst. Due to placement of cyst no stretching up or down and restricted movement of arms. So no crafting for a few days but a chance to do some reading and catching up on TV.

When I told a few people exactly what I wanted for Christmas I got some strange questions. However I am so happy today as I got everything I wanted a pencil case, new pens, some hand cream, a new Pyrex dish and some gluten free cereal that I struggle to get where I live. Simple things 😊
