My work laptop has these tiny page up/down buttons crammed around the cursor keys. I keep hitting them by mistake and giving myself a heart attack when all my text on screen changes 🤦🏻‍♂️ #FirstWorldProblems

Time for some new earcups. Last time I accidentally ordered the wrong colour from the Bose website but I ended up liking the contrast. This time I've gone for a third party option so we'll see how those go.

Day 22 of the ole #HobbyStreak. I'd been putting off painting the skin on the troll because I wasn't sure what colour I wanted it to be. Took the plunge today with the light blue I have and it looks pretty good. I also started batch painting the gold armour on the Tomb Kings.

I finished blocking in the base colours on this poor fellow for #HobbyStreak day 21. He's so bundled up it was tricky to figure out which bits were which to begin with. I think he's the weakest part of the sculpt tbh, if I got another troll I'd look for a different model.

#HobbyStreak 14-16. Finished up the Tomb Guardian paint job. The gloss varnish is still a bit wet in the picture because I didn't have time to let it dry before bed. Particularly pleased with the face on this one!

#HobbyStreak day 13! I put the base colours on this Tomb Guardian. I need to do his face but I don't think I have the colour I want. I think I'll grab something off the top end of the Army Painter's desaturated cool green gradient. That'll look appropriately putrid.

Tomb Kings thrower with a completed paint job. They have gold armour with teal and purple accents and purple shorts with black trim. On their chest, belt buckle, and on top of the helmet there are elements picked out in black with a glossy varnish.

The same thrower as the previous photo, this time from the back. There is a tiny numeral 1 stylised as a capital "I" on the back of the armour.

This speedpaint stuff is pretty great! For my #HobbyStreak day 7 I painted all the bones and bandages on my Tomb Kings team and they look fantastic. I might put some extra highlights on the bandages to distinguish them from the skeletons but we'll see.

Time for a #HobbyConfession. Until quite recently I thought that "Zenithal" was another exotic GW colour name along the lines of "Zandri Dust" or "Wraithbone". This came about from watching painting tutorial videos that would call for a "Zenithal undercoat" without explaining the process 😂
