The new song by Polyphia is catching a lot of flak for really just being noise. Maybe it's because I enjoy chiptune that's all noise channels or just that it slaps but listen to Power in the Blood and weigh in. Especially the back half.

Another sleepless night but this time I got a little painting done. Might take a while to make these blends smooth and I don't know if I need them to be that good. Just picked these up for something to paint so a sensible paint job should be just fine.

Mordheim. It's been like 26 years. I thought I remembered but I forgot how fun it is. Absolutely wild 3 player fumble your way through it match and I came out on top. Great time.

I have become addicted to using the Merlin Bird ID app. It's like real life Pokémon collecting. When it says a bird you've heard is unexpected in your area it's like pulling a shiny. Also the Eurasian Magpie's scientific name is Pica Pica so how is this not like Pokémon. House Sparrow! I choose you!

Painting up my Mordheim warband and they're a bit bright and clean looking. I've decided to go with it, but every time I lose a game I'm going to hit them with little Ratling Grime to dirty them up. Will take a before the campaign picture and after the campaign and see how dirty they get.

Colour looks off but I've got them all based and started. Thanks to my test mini I've got a quick process worked out for painting them. Not sure if 11 guys is good or bad in Mordheim but I feel pleasantly unburdened by thoughts about being competitive.

I picked up a mini to be the Captain of my Mordheim warband, since I'm not sure I'll have my printer up and running on time. He has arrived already "humbled". You don't fix an issue like this. I am so tempted to keep it and not bend it back.
