I know of a rec hockey league that's trying to ban anyone with an X on their ID regardless of "biology". Cause it's not about fairness or biology, it's about making sure only the "right" (cishet perisex white) women can play, if women's sports is even a thing given they are going after Title IX.

Not doing great for sure! I'd say I have what I'll call a "disordered balance". I'm being active and doing things that remind me and make it necessary to eat. Been liberal with the block button online, and clear I don't wanna talk about it IRL. It's so hard when it feels so unavoidable anymore. :(

About Trump v. Barbara: Do not give the Court and the CJ credit for reading and upholding the Constitution. It's a travesty that this is not a unanimous decision... it's also a travesty that the Court let this question percolate for a year, giving credence to a crank theory of citizenship.

Women in quotes cause some of these restrictions lump some nobinary and trans mansucline people into the category of women, and/or lump intersex women in with men. Everything is a mess when you put your feelings over actual biology.

It's so frustrating to talk to anyone about sports because they aren't fair. Biology is a factor, but social and financial factors play a much larger role than many want to admit. It's maddening how many people just don't care about what any of this means, not just for trans people, but all "women".

Iirc they intentionally went so hard on trans people and sports cause so many people do believe in the idea that perisex cis women are naturally inferior to "men" in all athletic arenas. Easier then to get people to see trans people as threats to society if you concede a "biological advantage."
