Did you know that they did dubs for a couple of kung fu movies? There were a few shows that did it with hip hop stars, like Kung Faux on Fuse, and the film Volcano High. But then there's Wu Tang on Duel of the Iron Fist, as an example. archive.org/details/iron...

The picture on the left is the Great Wall of China, but so is the picture on the right. Often when thinking about greatness we fixate on how it looks at the end-the sum of it-but most greatness is achieved by stacking one small action on another. That's really all it takes to achieve great things.

An aerial shot showing the massive, meandering Great Wall of China surrounded by dense, mountainous foliaged land.

The penal code is virtually indistinguishable from slavery. This is not a system that believes in compassion and rehabilitation. It's a system built on retribution and theft, dating back to its inception.

This news is important because all the fucks out there actively attempting to wreck the world want you to think that the work is hopeless and just mitigating the worst case scenario. It's not. Fucking keep going.

Yeah I like Vivaldi, although the UX is a bit odd with workspaces. It's pretty close to what I want, but definitely not as straightforward as Arc.

Birdwatching is making a big comeback even among young people! (I had an Inc article but it wouldn't load.) We got a bird feeder recently. It's honestly so heartwarming to notice the same birds again and again. www.bbc.com/news/article...

I've been using Fastmail without issue with two domain names for about a year now. Masked emails are great. I also considered Proton, but their emails and apps sometimes break when you share with others because of the way their encryption works. I'm also not a fan of the CEO endorsing Trump.

FYI, from Toocheke. They added a Tapas migration feature.

A screenshot of an email that says

Import Your Tapas.io Comics Into WordPress
You may have seen the news about Tapas shutting down. If you or anyone you know publish there, you’re probably wondering what happens to all of your comics and years of work.

We’ve just added a new import feature to Toocheke Companion (available in version 2.23+) that can move an entire Tapas series into WordPress for you — including episodes, images, thumbnails, and original publish dates.

It keeps everything in order, so you don’t have to manually copy and paste hundreds of pages.

It's annoying to keep hearing about cool CSS features only to find out browser support isn't great, so today I take a look at a bunch of features that have fantastic support, but people still turn to JS for instead. youtu.be/qu1jE41O_8o

A short walkthru of testing & publishing a webcomic w the Rarebit comic template + Eleventy + Github. It's a fast process: The site updates ~5 min after I push to Github, which auto pushes files to Nekoweb (site host). With the Tapas news, this might be useful. #webcomic youtu.be/1h2qfnftiKQ
