Came home to find this guy had eclosed! This is one of the Promethea Silkmoths I raised last year.

Male Promethea Silkmoth: mostly dark overall, with eyespots at the tips of his forewings and lacey beige patterns on the outer edges of all four wings. His body is fluffy, and he has large, feathery antennae. He's in a mesh enclosure.

Glover's silk moth (Hyalophora gloveri), Pryor Mountains, Montana. This is a male, told by the large, feathery antennae. These moths don't feed as adults, and only live about a week, just long enough to reproduce. Phone pic from last weekend. 🐙🌿

A 12-year-old boy was left behind on a street after an immigration raid in Waltham, Massachusetts.

United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents were seen on camera leaving the boy by himself on a sidewalk after arresting the person he was with on Felton Street recently. Neighborhood Watch volunteers were able to get the boy home safely.
