NOOOOO WAYY! That is Beetle, so named because she DOES have sparkles! One should see her right after I refill their water. She'll make a mess on purpose and shake it off in the sunshine :) You did her excellent justice! ❤️

#Boktober 05 Headshot this time, ref courtesy of @arula219.bsky.social! I almost didn't do one tonight tbh. Feeling pretty tired today but yay, I finished a sketch page with this one! #birds #chickens

A watercolor and ink sketch of a chicken portrait looking left with pale orange background splotches. The chicken is mostly dark black with rusty feathers on its chest, it has red wattles. Written in ink is the hashtag Boktober and kamakru.com

its wild we are so ground down by cultural expectations that its seen as tacky to love yourself. if i was just to post 'I LOVE MYSELF I AM INCREDIBLE' i promise some folks would think 'get a load of this self obsessed buckaroo, what a jerk'. fortunately i dont care and I LOVE MYSELF I AM INCREDIBLE

Wild shot in the dark *but*. For you and other commenters I hope: Epsilon WoW. It's MMO RP, and the program itself is daunting. but sheesh, rewarding, since it's been my main hobby for the past 6 years!

Scrolled hoping for insight and got it here! I'm type 1 diabetic and I was about to say I get it after eating a lot of sugar. Even if I dose well for it, still gets me hazy. if I don't dose well, it's simply all over until I sleep. For ex, I'll forget common words 😭 Super likely I also have ADHD. 🧐

another one is from the portal 2 comic "Lab Rat" which is a short comic but features a man with schizophrenia as a hero. but he's not exactly well known or anything, i'm pretty sure he only shows up in this one online 27-pager

thanks for inviting questions! was the shovel a fine contender for its ingame symbolism, was it appreciated for its ambiguity (before playing the game, that is), or any other reasons? much love and thanks for a fantasticallly unsettling experience.

make now, critique later. or, figure out if the critique and detail management is part of the art-making for you. whichever it might be, not even that is imperative to figure out before you are 'a real artist' or 'making art'.

Some studies from the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson! Third one is a made up landscape, I was trying to apply some techniques/got inspired by Carl Rungius

Black and white art study from Thomas Hill’s Two Stags Battling. Forgoing the two stags though, I focused on the dense forest of trees with a brightly lit beam of sunlight down the center, horizontally

Black and white art study of Albert Bierstadt’s Elk Grazing in the Wind River Country, forgoing the elk in favor of focusing on the valley of grass and snowy peaks in the back. A line of trees is in the mid ground to the left

A black and white sketch of a made up landscape, a valley surrounded by steep snowy peaks and pine trees. A hill in front curves down into the bottom of the valley, where a river lazy winds
