Writing a book is fun why did no one tell me this. I’m so used to writing outlines that now I’m starting writing the actual book and it’s so nice seeing it come back to life in a new way lol

It’s lowkey interesting to write a non human character that has so much admiration for humanity during a time where humanity is being the worst right now 😭

I spent all day on this and it lowkey looks Ike ASS but we live only once and we try new things around here, and at least I don’t use AI to do things 🙂‍↕️ idk if ppl like it I might come back and try to fix it/color it too

I genuinely feel god awful for the kids who r really creative and are interested in making a career/going to art school in the arts and can’t see a future in that bc of AI taking our jobs and now kids can’t even get student loans for it. I’ve always had creative aspirations and grew up—

NEWS: Trump just launched an AI website for your Medicare, passports and student loans. It's powered by Elon Musk's Grok, the chatbot that called itself "MechaHitler," and built by the same administration whose DOGE team leaked Americans' Social Security data. What the hell are we doing?

The Trump administration announced that they will cut student loans for degree programs that they claim will not earn enough money. These programs include social work, fine and studio arts, and cosmetology. These are mostly women-led industries. They are aiming to force more women out of work.

It’s almost as if there are more ways to measure the value of work than just the amount of money it makes people.
A country with fewer social workers and teaching aides, with less study of the arts and history, is a country that’s not investing in its own future.

Trump Moves to Cut Off Student Loans for Tons of Degrees

Under a new rule, if your degree doesn’t make enough money, you won’t be able to get a student loan.

HAPPY 5 YEARS!! Since 2021 I’ve run a webcomic on WEBTOON, and it’s been a crazy 5 years ever since. I feel like I genuinely grew up with this story. And even if I work on other things, I will always have plans for this comic, I just hope one day they’ll come to fruition and you’ll stick around!!

Illustration of my four main characters from my webcomic “Spiritual Gems.” A girl with long blonde hair and crosses her arms, telling another girl with short brown hair and a blue superhero outfit and wings, “You know we have to clean that up right?”
The girl with the short hair spray paints a 5 on a brick wall, responding with “Lighten up AD! I’ll clean it up soon…” crossing her fingers behind her back
A tall teen with long brown to purple hair and a purple superhero suit reads a newspaper talking about how it’s been 5 years since the heroes had been discovered. A man with a helmet thinks to himself, saying “5 years huh…?”

same art drawn in 2006, 2016, 2026. 2006 to 2016, i was most definitely trying to improve anatomy, overall accuracy and lighting. tightly over-rendering. 2026 i do not care about rendering. i want it to feel vibrant, expressive, ALIVE. color, brushstrokes, pose all reflect that, i think.

Chapter 29 of Aria of Stars and Snow!! After an upsetting interaction, Janae decides she needs to talk directly with Aria about something on her mind. #ariaofstarsandsnow #ariaofstarsandsnowchapter #webcomic #comic #oc #ocart #art #digitalart #characters

Chapter 29 of my original comic, Aria of Stars and Snow! It is done in a monochromatic purple style. This chapter has the characters Janae and Wistaria in it. Janae is a young woman with side swept bangs and dark hair pulled into twin buns. She has on large circular glasses, a collared shirt with a dark midsection and short white poofy sleeves with a purple stripe near the ends. She has on purple high waisted pants and white boots with purple tops, bottoms, and a stripe in the middle.
Wistaria is a child with light wavy shoulder length hair and long bangs with two sections sticking out to the sides. She has on light long pants and shoes with a dark purple hoodie on. The chapter starts with Janae facing away from Wistaria while kneeling down.

Panel 1: Wistaria looks at Janae’s back. Janae is turned away and kneeling, her hair buns drooping sadly.

Panel 2: Janae has turned toward Wistaria slightly, face still mostly obscured. She looks upset and says “…Aria, did you… did you think I was going to-“

Panel 3: Wistaria leans forward and looks upset and troubled as she yells “NO! I didn’t! It was an accident, I don’t know why I did that.”

Panel 4: Wistaria looks calmer, but still troubled as she says “You’ve been so nice to me. Even when I’m… difficult and not nice. I’m really sorry.”

Panel 5: Janae has turned towards Wistaria with a serious expression and Wistaria looks focused on her. Janae says “Aria, I need to say something. It’s really important, okay?” Wistaria answers with “Um… okay.” Janae says “Okay.”

Panel 6: Janae’s expression grows more serious as she says “You haven’t ruined anything or done anything wrong. But even if you did, that would be okay.”

Panel 7: Janae looks earnest and emotional as she looks directly at Wistaria, leaning over a little to match her level. She says “You can talk to me whenever you’re ready, about anything. I’m here. I care about you, Aria. No matter what, nothing will change that.”
