Trans athletes are a tiny % of all athletes. Fewer than 10 out of >500k US college athletes identify as trans. I don’t hear anything abt them haze raping. Yet, 1 in 5 women will be raped during their time in college. How about bitching against frat houses who drug & gang rape women & get away w/it?

My Dad can't use Google on his computer anymore because it always gives him this message. He doesn't have a Google account and I get the same message if I try to do a Google search through an incognito browser window when I'm not logged into mine. No issues with other search engines.

As a child (probably far too young to be watching it, to be honest) I loved Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom because of the action (especially the mine cart chase and the rope bridge scene). Re-watched it as an adult and spent much of the time doing a full-bodied cringe.

On one hand, I get that being able to "just buy a new one" when a thing stops working is a luxury and a privilege for a lot of people, but on the other hand there's a point where it becomes cheaper (in terms of cost/time/effort) to buy a new thing rather than keep trying to fix the old broken thing.

Today I went under the oak tree to pull out some weeds and as I went past Rosco’s grave, I noticed two tiny tomato plants growing in the soil. Even though he is no longer with us, it is like the garden still wants to look after him, even as he looked after the garden for all those years.
