I’ve seen others say things along these lines: “Cars are the weapon of choice to kill someone with the least amount consequences. And if you do it while intoxicated, that pretty much counts as an excuse.” I find it hard to disagree.

All fine. The canal in front didn’t flood and only a small part of the street (as far as I have seen). I think the BMA couldn’t have been more prepared than this for the amount of rain that fell. So they’ll have to invest in the system to be able to deal with it in the future.

I went into this summer as a photographer and came out of it as someone who has finally understood that the garden is not just a location, it's also a philosophy. The most powerful thing you can bring into the field isn't a better lens or a more dramatic location. It's a state of mind.

Yesterday’s bike ride was lovely. I didn’t take too many pics because it was raining the first half. This route is quickly becoming a new favorite.
