AaaaaahhhHHHHHH!!!! I'm so tired of @tcrf.net being down, this is so unfair. Literally my favorite site on the internet, I visit almost daily, and it's been dayyysssss. (To be clear I'm griping about the situation, not the website owner/the website).

It gets on my nerves how often I see video game comedy sketches on youtube that are like "poison logic in video games" or "dealing with NPCs in video games" and it's just Skyrim. They're just parodying Skyrim. Vast genres, series, tropes out there and it's always Skyrim. It's ALWAYS Skyrim.

Breath of Fire: Ryū no Tsurishi (ブレスオブファイア竜の釣り師) was preserved by SPC! This was a keitai-exclusive Breath of Fire fishing minigame, lost to time until today. By trading in your fish, you can purchase different lures and fishing gear!

Starting in 2028, Sony will no longer produce physical versions of PlayStation games, as announced on their Official PlayStation blog. All games will be on digital storefronts only. You may never truly own a PlayStation game ever again. #gaming #playstation

It's weird, I am completely happy, excited even to throw myself at a brick wall until it crumbles in single player/PVE content because I absolutely love that feeling of overcoming an obstacle, but the second it's against another player I'm ready to chew through solid oak.

I wish I had a succinct way to explain to people that taking a bullshit death or making a leap of faith in old games isn't bad design, it's a different teaching too. It's literally just "How was I supposed to know?" "Well now you DO know." Games are so much more fun when you play to learn.

Ark @arkthepieking.bsky.social · 17/02/2026

Tried Arknight Endfield. Gave it roughly an hour or so. It's...fine. But I really feel like I could be playing a better game. I don't think it's bad, it'll definitely be something people love. But it's not doing anything remotely interesting either.

I just checked on steam, apparently it's been almost 3 years since I've played Furi? What the hell? I think about that game all the time, that's wild. I'm going to have to revisit it soon, I've been jonesing for a good blisteringly hard action game that'll make me hate my thumbs.

Gonna say something that might ruffle some feathers, but I think cozy/casual gamers are starting to become one of the most toxic groups out there. I am actually quite tired of the sentiment that if you don't have fun in a certain low-stakes way then you're not ACTUALLY having fun at all.

Translation purists are genuinely the most obnoxious subset of weird racists on the internet. "Um in the original version he said 'I hope you have a nice night!' not 'Take it easy!' fucking woke translators are RUINING ANIME". Like it's genuinely painful being into fan translations thank to them.
