Also they did a “Thank a Teacher” day thing where scholars got given different slips to give to teachers about the things they think they do well. I got noticed as someone that loves my job, secretly runs the school, and has great style. I’ll take all of that too 🤣 5/5

Which is genuinely the best possible way I can think for a scholar to see me… As someone that will deeply care for them and their progress. Someone in control of the room and the learning. Someone that pays attention and plans meticulously, then acts quickly and precisely to support them. 🥹 4/5

I wasn’t sure about the Jaguar fitting my personality in any other ways though. So I did some digging. Jaguars are known for that “lethal precision”, yes. But they are also viewed as an authoritative but calm presence, independent and self-assured. With an intensity that empowers & protects. 🐆 3/5

Look I’m not one to usually brag about this kind of stuff. But one of my Y10 scholars gave me this beautiful pencil sketch yesterday. She said that the Jaguar is my spirit animal and she wanted it’s eye to be my favourite colour (she sneakily asked last week!). She said that the Jaguar matched… 1/5

This all happens quite quickly in my head but I think something like: 1800 × 1/4 of 1000 = 1800 × 1/4 × 1000 = 1/4 × 1800 × 1000 = 1/4 of 1800 × 1000 = 1/2 × 1/2 × 1800 × 1000 = 1/2 × 900 × 1000 = 450 × 1000 = 450,000

I didn’t get offered one for 3 years 🙃🙃🙃 then got offered a GCSE maths one last year, had to decline due to my brothers wedding in Poland midway through the window… then this year I didn’t get offered GCSE maths, but did get offered Extended Maths L2…

That is an odd choice given they’re trying to stand out from competitors as being more fair in lots of ways… Out of interest how do they compare on multiple methods? Some remained in screen shot there and others didn’t - looks like a mix of automatic 0 and least marks across them?
