Decided to test this for myself and Pangram told me with "high confidence"(!!!!) that sentences of a fic I wrote in literally 2018 were AI-generated

Victoria raises a skeptical brow at him, but swiftly turns her gaze to the rest of the group, awaiting their responses.
“If it’s going to… for lack of a better term, eat us, no matter what… then it might be easier, psychologically speaking, to speed up the inevitable,” PupDOS agrees; and then suddenly, she smiles. Not polite, not humouring, but genuine, almost… relieved. Sazley sees the smile, and barely conceals a frown, but no one else seems to take notice. “I’m in,” PupDOS says, and she is surer than she’s been about anything of late.
Sazley is quick to follow, breaking out into an awkward grin to suppress her nerves. “I, uh, I guess this is our best shot,” she says.
Sabrina and Rebecca exchange worried glances, neither one completely confident about this plan. Both of them sit for a second, just processing the possible pros and cons of going along with Victoria’s idea. Finally, Sabrina reaches her hand over until it is resting overtop of Rebecca’s, and she leans over and whispers something in her girlfriend’s ear. Rebecca smiles a little, and then she nods.

The game is well over 2 decades old, its janky, it has a learning curve shaped like a brick wall, and a lot of the character of the game comes from it being an unbalanced dumpster fire. Saying that, FFXI is something you only get to enjoy for the first time once. Have fun, take your time.
