(more text which is more highlighted)
“from only the best red-ripe tomatoes. When it comes to ketchup, It Has to Be Heinz.”

The following Emergency Motion was passed (and is thus now a Resolution) with an overwhelming majority at the Annual Meetings of the UK General Assembly of the Unitarian and Free Christian Churches on Sunday 13th April.

This General Assembly of Unitarian and Free Christian Churches
i) recognises, with concern, the increasingly authoritarian stance taken by the Trump administration in the USA and particularly notes the administration’s:
a. brazen disregard for the truth
b. demonisation of diversity and of vulnerable minorities
c. disempowerment of women
d. increasingly belligerent rhetoric towards other sovereign nations
ii) stands in solidarity with the Unitarian Universalist Association of America and with all Americans who uphold the truth and the marginalised
iii) recognises, with sadness, the need for greater caution regarding US influence over UK public life and policy.
Accordingly, it requests that Unitarians write to their MPs, and that the Chief Officer writes to the Prime Minister, urging that the UK Government resists making concessions to court favour with the Trump administration.

We do understand that today’s ruling will become a weapon in the hands of the usual suspects that will also affect cisgender women looking to access single sex spaces, if whoever tries to police it decides that they don’t appear feminine enough, right?

It boggles my mind how some creators reach their insanely huge audiences by lip syncing or reading memes. I don’t take my tiktok too seriously; usually it’s just me blabbing to camera about stuff, but oh boy! Reaching 30K regulars (mainly Polish-speakers) took some dedication… and occasional virals😅

Arek Malecki @arecki-yrks.bsky.social · 22/03/2025

Jeeez. I thought I’d check #Adolescence out since everyone’s been taking about it. I ended up binge watching the entire series all in one go😳 Recommend! So many so extreme & conflicting feelings all at once. Damn. And that’s after what’s already been a pretty heavy day on emotional labour for me 😮‍💨

Sweet. So I now have a strike on tiktok for “violent extremism” for calling out actual religious extremists harassing women and staff with loud sirens and graphic banners at an abortion clinic in Poland. And all I said were these famous words of Dave Barnhart paraphrased in Polish.

What came out of @torstenbell.bsky.social mouth was appalling, vile and incredibly self-centred. “I couldn’t survive on £70 I have a mortgage”. Well, do me sideway 🙄Doesn’t he think the disabled people have bills? Makes me increasingly content with myself for voting Green at the last election.

Arek Malecki @arecki-yrks.bsky.social · 13/03/2025

This is hysterical. In an email to my organist I said that the service will be inspired by “the story of St. Cuthbert”, except I somehow misspelt it as “the gigue of St. Cuthbert”. How? Idk! The poor bloke lost two days desperately trying to find “the gigue of St. Cuthbert” to play as interlude🤦🏻‍♂️🙈
