Whether or not you have the funds, just be open to grow and change. Growth requires you to say what you've done with your whole chest up front, not just when the skeleton-closet door suddenly gets torn off its hinges. Growth is a process, and you can't do it if you hide from it.

I've said it before, but we live in a society: our loose change won't fix the deep-seated issues or heal the hurt that's been reopened, but it helps. Cancelled a membership? Reallocate those funds. Realized a blind spot in your media intake (Mothership, babyyyyyy)? Sign up for that subscription.

It's taken some doing, but I've tried to just leave it be. AVGN's origin and popularization of "angry coverage" tilted me towards not feeling the need to contribute to that any further. And there's something different about dunking on massive devs versus the smaller indies; punch up, not down.
