Anyway I came across a mashup of Ruff Ryders' Anthem by DMX and Headstrong by Trapt that was almost certainly made by some kid just fucking around with audio editing software. As far as I can tell, this mashup was never uploaded anywhere, and it is lost media. I miss it.

In high school, I used a music website with some generic name like playlist dot com or something. It was a piracy website in retrospect, but it also led to me discovering a lot of songs I wouldn't have otherwise. I was looking for Down With The Sickness and came across the Richard Cheese version.

Looking back on it, it's pretty funny how one of my gym classes in high school was just "run in a circle for an hour." Nothing about stretches or how to breathe or any of that shit. Just run.

If seed oils accidentally get into your food you can put it in the microwave with a ball of aluminum foil. The foil interacts with the seed oils in such a way that it removes the toxins or whatever stupid bullshit you think is in there, or whatever. Put aluminum foil in the microwave with your food.

I think Warner Bros. didn't want to release Coyote vs. Acme because of how it subtly implies the existence of a healthy, loving relationship where the endgoal is not marriage but instead hard vore.

They should make a new Ice Climber game that's like super awards bait-y. Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons meets Celeste with a dash of It Takes Two. Most importantly, make it bad.

You see it is funny because Visser Three is much less compelling and fuckable than Visser One. It would make the cover more fitting though.

new anbernic thing is killing me. everyone was so excited for Remember the 3DS? I also can't get over how fucking shitty this poster looks. I get why they need to rely on not-that-good CGI for the movie, but why does the *poster* look like a video game?

"put the block in the whole that it fits in as fast as you can" is the kind of thing you'd do in a WarioWare microgame (I know this is an extreme oversimplification of the metagame) A lot of Dread bosses are mostly quickly defeated by like, two shinesparks, which makes it feel like a minigame.

Verbal Components seem underbaked. It exists so that a spell that requires neither a free hand nor a spellcasting focus can still have a component at all. If it's paired with either Material or Somatic, it may as well not exist. I have been playing DnD for three years and never come across Silence.

I thought I'd like Jean Grey more. I just don't think the editing did her any favors. We never get a chance to really linger on her emotions. I heard that this movie was more grounded and I thought that might mean the editing would be better. It was not.

Many Metroid Dread bosses are like Mario Party minigames. Tetris is many WarioWare microgames played in a row.

okay what happened here

a street fighter II conversion, no idea what this arcade machine once was befpre this was done to it. the monitor is inlaid and almost totally horizontal so most of the interior is wasted space. the control panel, well,

part of a marquee has been cut to fit under the control panel plexiglass. player 1 and 2 start are 80s nipple style done buttons on the p1 side only. three attack buttons are horizontal directly below the joystick and the other three buttons are vertically oriented to the right so the whole cluster is in a J formation. good luck

I actually think I like YOUNG ABERRANTS as much as PSYCHOPHILIA. There's more world building, more important themes, and better character dynamics. I'm excited to be working on it.

Someday I want to be better so I can finish the novel. I love the characters and their story, and I want to share their story. In the meantime, I've started work on a somewhat lighter story called YOUNG ABERRANTS, a dystopian sci-fi novel about psychic children in a government-run conversion camp.

Charlotte Aranea 📖✍️ @araneacharlotte.hijumpboots.com · 09/10/2026

I've been advised to abandon PSYCHOPHILIA by my therapist, wife, psychiatrist, girlfriend, and inner monologue, because ruminating on such intense violence is bad for me. This has made me very sad, because I quite like PSYCHOPHILIA and have invested a lot of effort into completing the first draft.

You can't really judge someone until they're 50. It takes it until you're 25 for your brain to fully develop, so you're basically a baby at 25, since your brain JUST finished developing. It takes 25 more years to be an adult for real (because it takes 25 years for the brain to develop).
