Camille Claudel (1864-1943) - sculptor. I just started this embroidered portrait. I’m using a lovely wine colored vintage silk floss. Not sure if it is colorfast, so we shall see. If it runs, I will be ok with it. I think I might be oddly disappointed if it doesn’t. #embroidery

Complaining about other voices and other perspectives in comics is like complaining that a restaurant serves some dishes you don't want to eat. It's sad and self centered and childish. Anyway, comics are great. Read the ones you want to read. Make the ones you want to make. /END

You know, more comic book people should do ALA. It really was incredible. It was so much fun talking to librarians about my books AND my friends' books. Far less frantic than a comic book convention. DEFINITELY going to try and go next year in Chicago.
