extra excited for these two in particular. a saucy homicidal succubus! a horny spider! lesbianism and whippings and black magic! zero doubt in my mind these are masterpieces 😭

DEVIL'S NIGHTMARE

"Erika Blanc wears a sexy outfit that puts Liz Hurley's to shame."
-Uncut Magazine

This is the first time that this slice of demented Belgian / Italian sleaze has been available in its full widescreen glory. Featuring a collection of shifty aristo's, grumpy servants and a saucy homicidal succubus played by the lickable Erika Blanc. This is seventies gothic at its campest best. Oooh er.

NUDE FOR SATAN

"Glorious, delirious and surreal, featuring a particularly horny spider."
--The Redeemer magazine

A previously lost sleaze masterpiece, chock-a-block with lesbianism, whippings, black magic and dubious dubbing. This is Italian gothic with huge dollops of seventies style. A man who seeks help for an injured woman at a gothic castle finds it inhabited by their 'darker' halves. Ooh err!

The thing thats amazing is, grammar is quite like a programming language for humans You can tell a lot about how someone views trans people by the type of variable [noun, adjective, etc] they think the word is Like, sorry but its not hard to see that you think a trans woman is a man (but womanly)

The smallest bat in North America is the canyon bat (Parastrellus hesperus), also called the western pipistrelle or American parastrelle. They weigh about 3–6 grams, the weight of a US penny, sheet of paper, or teaspoon of sugar. In flight, they're sometimes confused for moths or butterflies.

A tiny smoke-grey furry bat with darker face, ears and wings. The big story is the tiny size. The entire bat fits on a portion of a human's thumb, a tee-weeny tiny little guy.

This is a viral photo that's circulated for years, but I found it on r/BatFacts posted by u/Pardusco.

*record scratch* Yep, that’s me. You’re probably wondering how I got into this situation… (reposted with alt text because this is an absolute treasure. Photo credit: Kevin Lohman @kevinlohman.bsky.social)

Professional photograph of a squirrel leaping down from a branch at a very startled-looking owl. The owl’s yellow eyes are wide as it looks over its shoulder up at the squirrel who clearly has zero regard for his own life, his mouth open as if shouting WITNESS ME, or potentially some sort of justification for this surprise attack, Inigo Montoya style. Whatever the Owl has to say in return is definitely in all caps.

Gracklepalooza is winding down, but it’s been a good one this year! While most are gone, there are still a few around though! This male Common Grackle was flying to the next tree over, and wanted to make sure we got a good look at his “common” colours🤣 #Birds 🪶

A male common grackle flys against a dark background. He is flying right to left and his wings are down so we can see the gorgeous purple iridescence!
His head is a vibrant blue that sets off his yellow eye!

i haven't owned a toaster in so long. i'm trying to think of the last time i used a toaster that wasn't visiting my parents and am thinking it's been like 4 to 5 years since i've had a toaster. anyway.... maybe in 2027 i will get a toaster? a modest goal certainly but an achievable one!

I AM PISSED THAT HUMANS KILLED ALL THE MOA BIRDS!!!

An illustration depicting three extinct species of moa from New Zealand standing side-by-side next to the gray silhouette of an adult human for scale comparison. On the far left, the small Little Bush Moa (Anomalopteryx didiformis) stands roughly waist-high to the human. In the center, the chunkier Eastern Moa (Emeus crassus) reaches up to the human's chest. On the right, the massive South Island Moa (Dinornis robustus) towers significantly over the human, showing its exceptionally long neck and large, brown-feathered body. The birds are set against a soft, misty forest background.

sorry i get fired up about this but like once a month the "why doesn't everyone become [trade]" conversation picks up despite very few of you actually knowing what it feels like to be one (also i would love if someone who actually knows what it's like to work like that wrote about it.)
