Yeah older formulations like Adderall and Ritalin can be super hit or miss for people and other people work well on straight up dexadrine. The fact that ADHD can have really different features and presentations and we know this now feels like a huge key to this; brains can vary neurodevelopmentally

Everyone's brains operate differently wrt different formulas of amphetamines, especially prodrugs vs liver metabolizing ones, dosages etc. Adderall felt like classic tweaker experience despite having ADHD and Vyvanse makes me feel like a functioning human being. It's very ymmv indeed.

Overwatch was really great when it valued "disempowerment" and it has slowly chipped away at disempowerment to move towards the typical FPS fantasy - now hack is completely gone. It is something I worried about for years and it finally happened. Good to know I was just early, not wrong.

Sombra support rework is clunky and has a pretty bad loop for a support where there's actual downtime where you can't heal because it's only via abilities. What a waste of time instead of just leaving the hero alone vs. listening to the community all the time

One of the biggest myths is that men rape by mistake. Like, "Oh, they need consent training." But research is very clear: Sexual violence is not a mistake. It is an intentionally made decision by people who know they don't have consent. They just don't prioritize consent over things like status, power, domination, and sexual gratification.
For my research, I got a certificate of confidentiality from the National Institutes of Health, so my notes couldn't be subpoenaed. One of the reasons I call them perpetrators in my work is because every single person I interviewed confessed in that context. The first question I would ask them was, "When you received that email from Title IX that you were under investigation, did you know what it was about?" Every perpetrator I interviewed said "yes." If sexual assault were a miscommunication, you would be wondering, What have I possibly done wrong? That is not the way that any of them reacted because they knew.
