In the UK, the House of Lords (also called Peers 🤔) voted to pardon women who had already been convicted of illegal abortion and to expunge police records of those arrested. This comes after the gov't decriminalized women in June. The anti-choice movement is furious women can't be jailed anymore.

The EU Commission has set out a pathway to support abortion access following the #MyVoiceMyChoice European Citizens’ Initiative, clarifying for the first time that existing EU funds may be used to address barriers to care. Clear operational guidance is now needed to turn this into real access.

The UK scores highly in the new @epfsrr.bsky.social European Contraceptive Atlas, a comprehensive mapping of contraceptive access across 47 countries in the European region, improving from 3rd place last year to 2nd. The study looks at access to contraception itself, counselling and information.
