Imagine being a child tonight with nowhere safe to sleep. In shelters across Venezuela, children and young people are the largest group at every shelter. Most sleep without basic protection. Gender-based violence and attempted sexual abuse were found in 41% of shelters assessed.
Our partners are on the ground at shelters. There are makeshift beds on concrete floor, which children are siting and lying on.A mother and child are sat in a tent outside in a park. There are two of our partners who our crouched down speaking to the mother.
