FUCK this piece was so fun to do. Gotta say, doing Tron's scars was not my favourite part, I still feel pretty cheap for just going with layering the mosaic effect since I didn't have the right brush. And uh. yeah. I don't like the lightlines. Uprising made lightlines so much more complicated and I still can't get them right. But still! Working in chiaroscuro is fun! (even if I can't pronounce that word properly)

Honestly the author read into this a lot further than I did- she pointed out how most of Tron's face is obscured specifically and honestly I did that more as a choice to clean up the linework a bit but y'know what? It works. Having Tron being more in shadow compared to Beck being cast in a brighter light (and also being a source of it) while trying to nail the expressions in the scene this is based off of was the main idea, considering the fic is about Tron recovering his memories and reconciling with his actions as Rinzler. I played around a bit with whether or not to have Tron's emblem on top of the scars or basically scratched out- kinda glad I went with the latter. Anyways, off to make another piece bc the final chapter fucked me up something fierce lmao
