(CW: Suicide mention) Today is the anniversary of the time I actually tried to committed suicide and chose not to. It's also the day after my birthday. It's a day to celebrate that I chose to keep going and to be grateful I'm not stuck being abused like i was back then. A day of reflection.

Queer communities are actually pretty much the only spaces that still give a fuck about the health of the disabled and chronically ill. They’re certainly the only place I’ve found continuing support (and I’m not even queer!). We should be celebrating and emulating that acceptance.
