Loved #EastIsEast at the #OctagonTheatreBolton. Loved the set and loved the performances. Last time I was at this theatre was studying GCSE drama and watching oh what a lovely war! Will go back again it’s a great little theatre.

Wow half of integrated care boards are deliberately delaying care with set minimum waits for elective surgery. Often between 12-16 weeks this is to allegedly control costs. That I don’t understand do they think the operation will not be needed or is it a hope that people will go private? @bmj.com

When I see commentators using terms like “DEI” I immediately suspect that they’re trying to ignite a US inspired (and maybe funded?) culture war here. Because the acronym used in the UK is EDI - equality, diversity, inclusion - linked to the equality act 2010. www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2010/1...

Any other psychiatrists watched A Private Life / Vie privée by Rebecca Zlotowski. Psychoanalytic private practice in Paris looks pretty different to NHS practice. The Psychiatirst as a poor parent, with some unexplored trauma about their pwn mum seems like a bit of a trope.
