What a messed up thing to comment. Maybe keep thoughts like that to yourself.

I had an interview at a coffee shop (for a non-coffee-shop-related job). Ordered an iced coffee. Spilled it EVERYWHERE. Got a job offer the next day. Isn’t there anything—literally anything— better we could be focused on right now?

I would never disqualify a candidate based on coffee. That is wildly petty. I am on a hiring committee right now and we all had water bottles and coffee during interviews. We offer candidates a bottle of water before the interview. Let people hydrate!!!

So disqualifying someone because they want to have something to drink... That's messed up. Personally I have interviewed people who bring drinks or water bottles and guess what... It does not matter. The only thing is if they bring a full pizza they better share.

Right! I can almost see it as a good thing in some ways depending. Especially if someone has a water bottle with them and so on. I see absolutely no problem with that at all. Now if they bring a full pizza they better share it!

I paid $50 for 24GB of DDR5 ram for my Framework laptop just last year... The SAME ram sticks now are over $600.

A huge reason I built my own social network as I find it crazy that there is little user input in stuff like this.

Anthony Lee (Created Hey.Cafe) @anthonys.space · 09/06/2026

Wow crazy as I even browsed most recent media you posted and I cant even see a reason for such a label but it also should only be per item unless it's a user selectable setting.

Do you know or follow some content creators you think should join Hey.Café? It never hurts to suggest they check us out, as we make it easier for people to follow content creators since we do not limit what users see via algorithms, you follow someone you will always see it in order.
