Unsolicited writing advice, no: 92503: The more fantasy elements your story has, the more it needs to be rooted in common experience. That means being aware of sounds, smells, temperature, the weather, hunger, fatigue: etc. Physical details make everything more plausible.

It's a lovely day in Prestonpans. ☀️ It was so good to see families enjoying the beach, picnicking in Coronation Gardens and enjoying our newly refurbished Civic Square. No doubt Tower Gardens and other public spaces are equally busy. Thank you everyone who gives their time to improve our town.

The wild flower seeds for bees and insects are beginning to sprout. I have bought a firethorn to feed the birds in winter, definitely an improvement on crumbled biscuit. I tried healthier options but they were not interested. A shared human/avian trait.
