All the books I have out from the library right now are on opposite ends of the emotional spectrum, like, do I read an oral history of Chernobyl or a beachy romance novel? A WWI history or a showbiz romance novel? Historical fiction set during WWII or an intense fantasy drama?

My dog’s pet insurance incorrectly categorized a titer check as giving vaccines (to be fair, the invoice did say “VACCINE PANEL”) - fingers crossed that reaching out to them to correct it means that, at worst, I only lose the $20 they reimbursed and they don’t reevaluate the rest of the claim

The funniest outcome today would be that the Phillies lose and the Diamondbacks also lose, and the Phillies fall headfirst into the playoffs like an intoxicated teenager passing out in the bushes, and they start a playoff series with the support of a fully irate fan base.
