Telling our elected officials how we want them to govern isn’t “attacking.” It’s democracy. And the reason we do it publicly is to make them accountable. More people publicly making the same demands puts more pressure on them. It’s easy to ignore calls that few people are aware happened.

When I taught middle school math, I gave students the top pic and they solved it quickly. Then I gave them then bottom pic and they were like, what even is this? When I showed them it was the same as the fruit puzzle, it helped them understand. Math is both a system of concepts and a language
