I run a 5e home brew campaign that is heavily Turkish inspired. I wrote a few paragraphs about how most people drink tea rather than coffee, and it has become a thing. Ceremonies, holiday gatherings, one character goes out of his way to find obscure teas now.

#ttrpg players, have you ever heard of hex flowers? Essentially semi-random tables that make sequential events make more sense since the future state is based on the current state, and motion on the plot isn’t totally random (has a statistical bias in certain directions). Lots of neat applications.

Any thoughts about mashing creatures together? I’ve had good success making a new race of gnoll/orc hybrids. Seriously scared my players, and they’ve become a relevant society in our campaign.
