The bad news is this has so far resulted in watching multiple episodes of Star Detective Pretty Cure a day and not much else. When work is less stressful I'll get back on the kanji grind but until then easy anime will do nicely. 110

If you ever play it make sure to try to interact with like every individual piece of furniture or decoration you come across because Nehani has dialog for a ton of it. 010

It was wild going from talking heavy shows like Bocchi or Medalist to one where sometimes there's a simple sentence every 20 seconds or so. It was good! The best anime were Bocchi the Rock and Medalist At some point I plan to sit down and try powering through a proper book with kanji, but I'm not quite ready yet. 010

A proper arcade should have dim lighting, cheating at skee-ball, a pinball game that's always in-use so I can't play, and smell vaguely of cigarettes. OK maybe that last part was just the arcade I went to. 020

The hardest part of language learning is being like "I'll read something 20x slower than I could in English" and committing to it. 000
