I'm all for people riding bikes and sharing the road with them but if you're riding a bike you need to follow the rules of the road including stopping at stop signs and waiting your turn to make a turn into traffic. It's called 'sharing' not 'taking over'. *steps off soap box*

I've been thinking a lot about a book I finished reading, about the summer of 1936 and the brutal heat in the US and Canada during that summer, breaking lots of records and causing a lot of deaths. for those interested, the book is called 'The Summer of Death' by Geoff Williams. (1) #Booksky

In December a 1594 edition of Snorri Sturluson's Sagas of the Kings was sold at auction for 1.3 million Norwegian kroner to Erling Haaland. He donated it to the library in Bryne with the request that the book remain open for visitors, so people could read it rather than see it locked away

Eventually, as you adopt new pets, you already see the end the day you bring them home. You *know*'the time is fleeting. Do I wish mine lived longer? On the one hand, yes. On the other, each's passing made room for the next. I'd never give up all those "nexts".
