wait no, my mistake, that's a photo of a 1920 passport (beneath a paragraph about 1902 ones). the crest dates back to at least 1790 but i haven't found the six-pointed great star arrangement before 1920 (before then the arrangement didn't seem fixed). the point stands though, it's over a century old

This crest does seem to have been in continuous use on the US passport since at least 1902 platform.keesingtechnologies.com/history-of-t... which is 46 years before the modern state of Israel was founded
