The sweep didn't help but my belief in this Mariners team went down significantly when they decided not to claim Eugenio. He wasn't going to fix this team but he was a valuable player that could be had for next to nothing. This FO balking at $3 million further proved they're not invested.

The Mariners actually deployed very sound strategy last night in losing 22-0. Dan Wilson knows bats only have so many runs in them so the M's let Milwaukee use all of theirs in game 1 while the Mariners still have all of theirs for the next 2 games. Smart.
