An amazing glimpse into Mesolithic everyday life: this more than 7,500-year-old ring was made from heather roots, carefully rolled up and prepared for later use. It was discovered at the settlement of Motala/Sweden, where the same material was used for fish traps. Dating 5750–5550 BC. 🧵1/2 📷me

Links ist ein Liniendiagramm mit den monatlichen Anteilen von Pkw-Neuzulassungen dargestellt. Es vergleicht reine batterieelektrische Fahrzeuge mit Plug-in-Hybriden im Zeitraum von 2020 bis 2026. Data centres in the Netherlands used 4.6% of all electricity in 2024, and transmission system operator TenneT expects this to double or triple to 10-15% by 2030! That means that the next 6-11 TWh/year of renewables that will be completed, will go straight to the growth of data centres.
