My boss messaged me very worriedly to ask if I'm okay because apparently I have a huge bruise on my right cheek/jaw THAT I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE Another manager noticed it YESTERDAY and brought it up with him quietly. I am horrified that I missed this, and touched to the point of tears by their care.

It was a hijacking attempt. But the reason IS UNKNOWN. Germanwings 9525 was a premeditated murder-suicide by a depressed and selfish pilot. He locked his copilot out of the cockpit and flew the passenger flight into a mountain. This led to global mandates for 2+ people in the cockpit at all times.
