Fans can spend money on the thing they like. Whatever, let a thousand blossoms bloom. But you just know that the majority of people who bought this — sorry, *prebought* it — are losers who will flip the Oakley sunnies on StockX etc and throw everything else out.

I was lucky enough to go to the Grand Final. It was a helluva experience, only slightly dampened by the outcome.

On the plus side, this will probably mean a bunch of Quest 3 headsets will appear on the marketplaces. Just uhhhh sanitise them twelve times over before using them.

The main users I can think of for this thing are sim gamers and gooners. Both are very profitable niches.

I’m kinda surprised that nobody on my feeds is talking about the Steam Frame. Maybe VR is already out of most people’s minds, maybe the few that were curious saw the launch price and noped out.

It took two consoles, but the hubris of generational success has finally come for PlayStation. Shame that we couldn’t get a Kinect or Wii U Gamepad out of it.

Any interest I had for Stage Tour hardware has been quashed by their localised pricing. Their store lists drums at US$200; factoring in GST this should convert to AU$307. Instead we’re being charged AU$440 before shipping. That’s an unexplained 43% Australia markup!

We can all agree that the Betoota Advocate has gone down the gurgler, right? They used to try to write jokes; now they only write glib run-on sentences, sometimes with a swear thrown in to appear 3edgy5u.

The scalpers are not content with just ruining shoes, game consoles, children’s card games, etc etc etc. They are now trying to ruin mere movie tickets.
Imax Melbourne instagram post: “Hi movie lovers, we're aware of unauthorised ticket resale listings for THE ODYSSEY at IMAX Melbourne. We are working with our ticketing partner and have strict processes in place to manage the unauthorised reselling of IMAX Melbourne tickets. All tickets sold on third-party websites have been cancelled and are not valid for any session.”

Rhythm Heaven Groove is the good time I was hoping for, especially once the second versions of levels come in. Having said that, it might be a quirk of my setup but I could never get the timing right on my TV. I have to play it in handheld mode if I want to score medals.
