On examination, by others and me, this isn't a consultation on whether we want a memorial. It's *already* been decided that there will be one. It's a forum to choose the format. I don't want another memorial in Scotland to a dysfunctional English family. Only at the end is there a comments text box.

... If there are no resources (people, skills, physical resources etc ...) to consume that new money and return it via taxes then it will sit in savings and fuel inflation. Spend and tax, not tax and spend, but make sure there are resources there ready to be funded. Invest in people and skills. 2/2

... Using £ leaves you in thrall to the spite of the Bank of England when we'd need flexibility and control. Using the Euro at the start would restrict the flexibility we'd need at that point to drive the new Scottish economy. We need the CU and SM the EU provides. The Euro is a latter decision.

We are too dependent on US based technology companies. Musk's control of Starlink is but one example. It's being integrated into aircraft (BA), passenger ships (P&O) and a fickle US government could just switch it off as punishment as in Ukraine. Others are MS, Google... We need Open alternatives!

Looks like there's evidence pointing the finger at Musk for initiating the reduction of Starlink's capabilities over Ukraine. The backlash has been such that he now seems to be deflecting to blame Trump. It's obscene that a billionaire who represents no one's interests except his own can do this.

Don't think so. These words are from a 2014 BBC interview with Putin in which he was asked about Scottish independence and he echoed Cameron's messaging. He had his eyes on the bigger goal of what would become #Brexit with the aim of fragmenting the #EU.

It's the lie Thatcher told. Governments actually create money to spend first then recoup it via taxes. Spend & tax, not tax & spend. The real limitation is the availability of resources (workers, skills...) to create things we need. Spending chasing few resources risks inflation. Invest in people!

In essence the loss of the 3xlock for Scottish pensioners will divert funds from Scottish pensioners to fund England's care service to which they will have no access. It's good that England will get a sensible care service but getting Scottish pensioners to pay for the service in England is wrong.

This will be a UK wide pension cut to fund social care only in England. Scotland has its own care system. So, Scottish pensioners will be funding English care!
