Been a week and I still here some of his sounds around the house. Not that I think I’m being haunted by a ghost cat… But I hear what sounds like a hungry meow or him jumping down from something. Weird how the brain works sometimes and just… Decides what a sound is automatically.

I love when RPG combat systems point out when you find an enemy’s weakness. Neat! That thing is weak to shadow magic! I love it even more when it happens with weapons. ESPECIALLY real world weapons. Aha! It’s weak to having its skull bashed in with a hammer! MY MASTER PLAN IS WORKING!

Resident Evil was awesome! Lots of little nods at the games, but it was its own thing. No cheesy try-hard fan service. Functions as just a great horror slash black comedy by itself too. This Cregger fella sure makes a good movie!

Picked up the Romancing Saga 2 remake on sale and it is absolutely fantastic. They did an amazing job of modernizing a game I bounced off. Great turn-based combat and abilities. Awesome, light town management mechanics. Intriguing world. Romancing Saga 3 just became a must have when it comes out.

Me and kiddo watched Godzilla Minus One today. What a great time. I love the big idiot in all its forms, but I think I love the “Godzilla as a force of nature” direction most. Giant kaiju wrestling still absolutely rules though.

AI has alienated me to the point of asking this question. I used to be excited when new tech, apps, gadgets came out. New tools to learn and work with. I anticipated wearables growing into something really cool. The sector’s obsession with AI makes me angry at worst and feel empty at best.
