Want something new to worry about? Happy to oblige. For some people, COVID reactivates the Epstein-Barr Virus, known for triggering such hits as MS, lupus & mono. So if you had mono as a kid & then got COVID decades later, you might end up w/ mono that lasts 4yrs & counting. Ask me how I know.

And for those who were Platner boosters until very recently, I would love to hear what you’ve learned and how it will change your approach to candidates in the future. Because until that shifts, it’s all just words.

There’s no shame in having backed Platner in the beginning. Or even waiting to hear his response to early allegations. But if you were still backing him a few days ago, you need more progressive women in your circle. He set off our ick meter a while ago. Oh, and we believe women.

Mamdani has demonstrated something that Democrats have largely forgotten. You can't just do good things for voters and expect to be rewarded for it. You have to tell them about it, over and over again. You have to advertise your work in office just as much as you did on the campaign to win it.

As I told some people on the Hill recently, Trump is writing the Dems’ ads for them. He’s at -50 on handling prices, and 50% of persuadable voters say the economy/prices is their top issue, and they trust Dems by 10 on it (will likely increase with new data). This is a huge easy W for Dems

Again this should inspire wall-to-wall media coverage for months. The crowning achievement of the Civil Rights Movement is dead. Black people just lost all of their remaining political power in the South. This is a monumental moment in American history that simply isn't being treated as such.

Hegseth saying “The Pharisee Press” should be a fully mask off moment. He is saying “The Jewish Press”. But Christians of all political stripes are so devoted to using Pharisees as a rhetorical prop that liberal Christians regularly insist it’s totally fine, no matter how many Jews try to explain.

Just learned Vance didn’t go through RCIA—the Catholic Church’s program of study for adult converts—which…tracks. Instead, he found a like-minded Dominican fresh from ordination to tutor him. Either Vance retained nothing or they didn’t linger on just war theory or subsidiarity or the Gospel itself
