Had a few people very concerned about my charging cable last week, but the cable of death has now officially been replaced with some shiny new braided cables In my defence, the cable functioned perfectly fine, there are no exposed wires and there were never even any sparks from it

Urgh, can pretty much guarantee that Google is not in fact giving me an extra $4/month worth of value.
