Jake Ginnivan @jake.ginnivan.net · 04/01/2025Productive day, laid a bunch of bricks for my fire pit area, dehydrated a batch of jerky and smoked a brisket (well, that’s nearly done). Now off to a 40th 010
Jake Ginnivan @jake.ginnivan.net · 02/01/2025Pretty happy with the progress today. Should get my fire pit area done before going back to work. Hope to get it all levelled and maybe start paving tomorrow 010
Jake Ginnivan @jake.ginnivan.net · 02/01/2025Last year I really dropped off the public speaking due to house Reno’s (living with in-laws) Where should I submit this year? Want to catch up with people and go to some great conferences 320
Jake Ginnivan @jake.ginnivan.net · 29/12/2024What are some ways I can be productive while walking? I often do podcasts but are there work tasks people get done while walking via voice? 210
Jake Ginnivan @jake.ginnivan.net · 02/12/2024The Azure Portal and Sharepoint are great examples of what you shouldn't do with web apps, you can't right click+open in new tab or ctrl+click on links. So frustrating when the default experience of the web is broken. 220

Jake Ginnivan @jake.ginnivan.net · 18/11/2024DDD Perth was awesome this year, glad it’s over though. About 1500 tickets sold, new website built, new checkin system, amazing talks. Also together a talk on open telemetry in 3 hours to fill in a speaker who had to drop out which went pretty well. Love a good challenge 020
Jake Ginnivan @jake.ginnivan.net · 08/07/2023Anyone got suggestions on earbuds that you can talk on with background noise. My AirPod pros are awful (not latest Gen), they pick up soo much background noise, but it’s great having them in my pocket all the time to just throw in when I need them though 050
