I spent 10 days with a bunch of teens on a river with no internet, and I also just dropped off my one and only kid at college. I’m having a lot of big feels. My headline? The kids are alright. They’re more than that - they’re awesome, and they give me so much heart and hope. #onwardandupward

The Trump administration is further dismantling the U.S. Dpt of Ed by sending the funding and activities of the office I formerly led, OCTAE, over to the Dpt Of Labor. This will increase bureaucratic burden, confusion, and cost for our nation, harming CTE and adult ed systems & learners. @all4ed.org

Yesterday I attended a rally in support of our trans kids and community - Sec McMahon was at what was supposed to be a Title IX event (yay Title IX!), but it was really an anti-trans event, kicking off an anti-trans bus ride across NM (during Pride Month). We stand with ALL our kids in our schools!

The U.S. Dpt of Ed sent a letter to chief state school officers, encouraging states to maximize flexibilities in Title I to expand choice. @all4ed.bsky.social is relieved that it’s not outrageous, it’s not even new.
